Our Story

Forefront is a community of followers of Jesus Christ committed to trust God, love people and serve the world. We began monthly meetings with a handful of people in the Spring of 2005 and launched weekly meetings in Gramercy, beginning September 18 of the same year.  In April of 2009 Forefront launched a 2nd location on the Upper West Side on Sunday evenings.

 

We are a church community comprised of urban professionals, artists, young families, and students who seek to live out the teachings of Jesus in the context of the city.

 

We value beauty, truth, community & being Spirit-led.

 

Our name reflects our desire to lead others to reach their God-given dreams for this world.

 

Our community is built on a network of smaller communities (small groups) that meet throughout the city, then gather together weekly to celebrate what God is doing in the lives of His people.
