Haiti Relief

 

By now you are aware of the terrible disaster that has taken place in Port Au Prince, Haiti. It is estimated that well over 100,000 are dead, and upwards of 1,000,000 orphaned children.  In response FOREFRONT took a special collection on January 17 for Haiti disaster relief by supporting the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission.  The NWHCM is currently on the ground in Port Au Prince and distributing food, clothing, and water to those in desperate need. Pray

In addition to giving, we need to continually be praying for the men, women and children whose lives have been effected during this time. Money is very key – but so is asking God to work miracles and intervene like never before. James 5:16 states, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”   Prayer is not a throw away.  It’s primary.  God can do more through your intercession than we can imagine.
