Father's Heart Ministries is a local faith based non-profit organization located in Alphabet city. The goal of the ministry is very simple - to break the cycle of poverty by addressing the various needs of the city.
Father's Heart extends the responsibilities of typical soup kitchens to address a more holistic and personally involved ethos. Every program is organized not only help those in need, but to become an expression of God's love. In the past, Forefront Church has solely focused on the Saturday morning Hunger Prevention Program in which the ministry center transforms into a food pantry and soup kitchen serving well over 600 guests. Additional needs are now being met through programs which mentor teens, educated children, provide legal and social services, teach English, counsel addictions and prepare new parents.
Forefront is committed to Father's Heart and its mission - to provide a
means for people to express practical acts of compassion to serve this
