There was a time in New York City’s history when Brooklyn was considered a place for blue-collar-immigrant communities to settle just outside the limelight of Manhattan.
Today, much of Brooklyn has changed. Job growth continues to rise. Young families, professionals, and artists are turning Brooklyn into a community of tremendous influence.
Even though Brooklyn has become an influential part of New York City, one thing remains the same: people still long for greater significance and meaning, people are still broken, and they still need to be brought back into a relationship with Christ. People need a church community.
Forefront Brooklyn has a vision to see lives and neighborhoods in Brooklyn physically and spiritually renewed through the power of Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to foster a community that celebrates the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, develops meaningful relationships in love and accountability, and continually works to restore the physical and social needs of Brooklyn’s many neighborhoods.
